Volunteers Needed
for
Physically Challenged Adult Group
Please consider joining us on Wednesdays, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Learning Center for a most rewarding experience with a courageous and uplifting group of people.
As volunteers, we prepare and serve a nutritious lunch, offer caring support and a listening ear, as well as accompanying them on trips to the YMCA, Two River Theater, Blue Claws games and Brookdale College seminars.
Our leader, Rhoda, represents CACOD-the consumer Advisory council of the disabled, a.k.a. "Emilie's Field of Dreams" and brings a wealth of experience and relevant information: ADA issues, wheelchair problems, legal matters, etc.
